What does Mental Toughness mean to you?
Perhaps you think of someone who is physically strong? Athletes are an obvious answer but what about the everyday folk who show extreme mental toughness? Just like all training it’s the small shifts that create the big impacts. Mental Toughness is the ability to push through adversity with control, confidence, and commitment, challenging yourself to learn and grow from every experience. It could be as simple as going on stage to do a talk when you are extremely nervous, talking to someone new at work, doing that one thing that this morning you were dreading. We all practice Mental Toughness everyday but when you can recognise your M.T baby steps it makes the larger ones easier to comprehend and tackle.
